Tom & Olivia’s Montville Wedding Ceremony
I first met with Tom & Olivia back in 2018, before I was a celebrant and while I was the Wedding Coordinator at this spectacular property. They met with me, fell in love with the Spicers Clovelly Estate venue, booked their original wedding date of 04.04.2020, and days before they were set to say ‘I Do’, Australia was sent into its first lockdown. I was in the midst of completing my Certificate IV in Celebrancy and having finished up as wedding coordinator at Clovelly they asked if I would be their wedding celebrant on their new date. Let me tell you, it was such a pleasure to go full circle with this gorgeous couple!
Covid did throw a few spanners in the works, but after two more date changes, these two finally wed on the 25th of September 2021, 538 days later than initially planned, but well and truly worth the wait!
The boys got ready onsite, and Olivia arrived by Rolls Royce before her father Robert walked her down the aisle.
For both Tom & Olivia, their priority was very much all about their two families coming together. Olivia let me know that she absolutely adored her father, so we felt it fitting that we include a sweet aisle acknowledgment of Robert in order for him to give his blessing. Let me tell you, there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd!
Tom & Olivia had a sweet love story, with a good touch of humour. Before the vows, we read out some beautiful ‘words of advice’ from all of their parents. We also had Tom’s father David as the ring bearer, and surprised both of their mothers Lisa & Leanne as their witnesses.
Following congratulations, they mingled with their guests over a garden soiree & lawn games, before heading offsite to the infamous One Tree Hill overlooking the spectacular Glasshouse Mountains in Maleny.
They re-entered a seated reception on the Library Deck at Clovelly, and then danced the night away!
