Noosa has become the destination wedding location of choice for so many newly engaged Melbourne couples. Not only do they get to celebrate their wedding day in style with some of Australia’s top wedding professionals, the South East Queensland sub tropical climate means wedding season runs from March through to November, with one of Australia’s most iconic beach locations as their backdrop.

This gorgeous Melbourne couple said I Do in spectacular style with 100 of their favorite people, holding their wedding ceremony at Noosa Woods Bay at the top of Hastings street. They made sure to give their guests the full Noosa experience!
Carly stunned in a custom Vasiliki Couture Gown, after getting ready alongside her beautiful beautiful bridesmaids at a Luxury Noosa Air B&B. Hair & Makeup by locals Niki Taylor Hair & Leah Medutis.
Their ceremony was styled to perfection with a freestanding floral structure with muted tones of quicksand and blush pink by Mondo Floral Design, and coastal chic meets modern romantic concept brought together by the team at Lovebird Weddings.

Carlee walked down the aisle with both her father & stepfather, preceded by her bridesmaids who wore La Lune gowns in champagne from Australian designer Shona Joy. Her mother Julie as well as sweet niece & nephew Olive & Archie who literally ran to hug Max when they saw him!

There was hardly a dry eye in the room as Carlee entered, and most of the tears were coming from the groomsmen. With the crowd well and truly warmed, I had them give her a standing ovation as she entered, and they didn’t disappoint!

Guests were welcomed by Noosa Celebrant Emma Homewood, who added some sweet family acknowledgements before taking guests on a journey through their 10-year love story that brought them to their wedding day.

There were plenty of inclusions and shout out to guests who featured in their story, which kicked of something a little like this:
“The story of Carlee & Max started at Troy’s 21’st birthday almost 10 years ago now. Welcome to the narrative Troy! Max just so happened to be delivering a speech that night, where he recited a list of all the girls that Troy was in love with. The gorgeous gaggle of dreamboats included one Carlee Jean Ord, Troy was clearly a man with impeccable taste! In any case, Carlee was adamant that Troy saw her as no more than just a friend so took it upon herself to question Max’s suspicious claims. I myself would like to question Max’s claims, as it were he who wound up sharing a sneaky pash with Carlee in the back seat of his Ford Falcon XR6 later that very evening!”

The audience were captivated with laughter and tears as Noosa Celebrant Emma Homewood conducted a relaxed, entertaining and engaging wedding ceremony, creating what felt like such an intimate space for their 100 guests.

Followed by a sweet asking, Carlee & Max went onto read their personal vows which they delivered so beautifully, before exchanging rings.

After 10 years of growing up together through their 20’s, Carlee & Max officially became Mr & Mrs Casey on the banks of the Noosa River!

Following their wedding ceremony, guests congratulated the couple over champagne in Noosa Woods Bay and then set sail for a sunset cruise and cocktail party on the Noosa River aboard The Catalina.

The boat docked at Ricky’s Noosa, and reception was kicked off in style over a 3-course dinner & speeches. The wedding reception space was styled by Lovebird Weddings and Mondo Floral Design.

Carlee then had a dress change and stunned in her second look for the day by Melbourne designer Vasiliki Couture.

Congratulations Carlee & Max! The two of you, and everything about your spectacular Noosa wedding day was absolutely divine.
