Jasmine & Finn’s Incredible Yandina Station Wedding

Jasmine & Finn’s Yandina Wedding Ceremony
These two celebrated their spring wedding at the incredible Yandina Station, and if there were ever the perfect example of a roller coaster of emotions, their ceremony was it!
As a marriage celebrant, I’ve always said that the secret to making people cry is to first make them laugh. So, when they suggested kicking off their processional with a ‘Beer Boy’ entry, the tone was set for all of the feels! With Corona’s stashed in their beer belts, they danced down the aisle to Justin Timberlake’s ‘Sexy Back’, handing out beverages as they went.
With a slight vibe shift with the music transitioning to Kina Grannis’s ‘Can’t help falling in love’, Jazzy and her gorgeous girls made their entry. With the crowd well warmed, the vibe was full of joy and applause all round as she hit the aisle.
As we made our way though the welcome and acknowledgement’s, there was hardly a dry eye in the room thanking their wedding party, parents, and finally grandparents with a butterfly release. This was a particularly touching moment due to Jasmine’s grandmothers passing being quite recent, and it was beyond fitting that one of the butterflies made themselves at home on the flowers next to them for the duration of the ceremony as if to say ‘I’m still right here’.
Their story was full of giggles and sweet moments, spanning from the time they met in high school, their bougee first date (compliments of Finn’s Dad’s credit card!) so much fun with family and friends along the way, and finally to where they stood on their wedding day.
Having written their own vows and absolutely nailing the brief, they once again brought the whole audience to tears and it was clear just how much loved filled the space as I pronounced them husband and wife.
Their wedding party were so much fun, bringing all of the good vibes throughout the afternoon and into reception.
The reception space looked incredible, pops of pink styled by Willowbud was the perfect colour palette for such a fun and vibrant couple. It’s safe to say that between all of the banter, shoey’s and smoke guns, the evening turned into one hell of a party!
Congratulations Jasmine and Finn, the two of you were so much fun and your wedding day an absolute joy to be a part of.
