California cool met whimsy chic for the incredible Calile Hotel wedding of Zoe and Angus in Brisbane city’s Fortitude Valley.

Zoe got ready for her wedding day onsite in her suite at The Calile Hotel, alongside her mum and gorgous wedding party. She wore a custom gown by iconic Brisbane designer Brad Webb of Darb Bridal Couture. Her hair pulled back in a sleek bun by hairstylist Paula Maree, and makeup by local makeup artist Helena Chapman.

The ceremony was set on the rooftop ampitheatre overlooking Brisbane City, with local Stem Floral Designer creating the bouquets and ceremony-scape. Zoe walked the aisle escorted by her father and there was hardly a dry eye in the room as she did.

Their Brisbane city wedding ceremony was opened with warm welcomes and some heartfelt acknowledgements of their favorite people, namely parents, grandparents, siblings and their wedding party. We then took a trip down memory lane from the momentt they met while holidaying in Sunshine Beach, to Angus’s iconic proposal on that very same beach some seven years later.

Zoe and Angus wrote their own personal wedding vows, which is always something I recommend with the assistance of my handy vow writing resource. They did an amazing job, and there was hardly a dry eye in the crowd.

Following the I Do’s they had their mothers witness them signing, which just quietly tends to be the most popular option these days. We brought them back up to the alter so that Angus could admire his new hardware, and receive a final congratulations while being introduced as Mr & Mrs.

The wedding reception space at The Calile Hotel looked absolutely stunning, styled by House of Harvey and Stem Floral Design complete with raspberry vanilla cake.
