Daniel & Sharaine’s Noosa Springs Wedding Ceremony
These kiwi’s threw one hell of a party, with their 150 guests flying from NZ for 4 days of celebration! Following their welcome and rehearsal dinner on Noosa’s Hastings Street, the main event kicked off at Noosa Springs Resort.
Their bridal party was impressive, Daniel got ready with his bevvy of six groomsmen plus three flower-gents at his family’s holiday home while Sharaine and her seven gorgeous girls at a spectacular luxury holiday home on the Noosa Waters canal.
The brief for their ceremony was to celebrate their love while having it feel like one big party with plenty of personality, and that’s exactly what we did. The three flower men shocked guests by preceding the girls down the aisle, tossing petals about as they entered to Queens ‘Another one bites the dust’. I told the boys that they really had to commit to this in order to get the full effect of what we were going for, and my goodness did they deliver! The hilarity that ensued watching three fully grown men dancing about and sprinkling petals let the guests know this was not just any regular wedding ceremony.
The tone quickly changed as Sharaine & her gorgeous girls entered to Matt Corby’s Resolution, there was barely a dry eye in the house. We included some heartfelt acknowledgements of their parents and included a sweet giving away of Sharaine with her daughter Wynter giving her blessing, and welcoming Daniel into their family.
Their love story was one that spanned 8 years, with plenty of unconventional ups and downs it was full of both sweet and hilarious moments. Sharaine & Daniel both wrote their own vows, and absolutely nailed them as again there was hardly a dry eye in the room.
This was a wedding where everyone was left feeling on an absolute high, and I was so lucky to be invited to stay on through their evening reception where Sharaine’s twin sister Laural & brother-in-law Mark Furze (yes, that Mark Furze!) played their first dance song as well as the celebratory days that followed.

The following day, we were all treated to a recovery cruise on the Noosa River onboard The Catalina where everyone wore white, and finally Daniel’s 40th birthday at Sunshine Beach Surf Club on the final evening of the festivities.
Congratulations Sharaine & Daniel, it was an absolute pleasure being a part of not only your wedding day but your entire wedding week!
