Sarah & Richard’s European Inspired Noosa Waterfront Wedding
These two darling hearts celebrated their wedding in August 2023 at the incredible Noosa Waterfront Restaurant on Gympie Terrace in Noosaville.
Notorious for its spectacular Italian cuisine, the other great thing about this venue is that there is a park right next door so that guests can mingle in the same spot for drinks and canape’s before seated reception kicks off a little later in the day.
With a European theme, the venue was beautifully styled by Willowbud Flowers who added oranges to the elegant concept for an Italian touch.
Sarah stunned as she entered to Billie Eilish’s Ocean Eye’s, preceded by her sweet flower girls and gorgeous bridesmaids, there was hardly a dry eye in the crowd!
Having first met in what Richard described as the classic ‘meet cute’ scenario at Sixes & Sevens in Brisbane’s James Street back in 2018, we had so many giggles throughout their story and happy tears during their beautiful personal vows.
Following ceremony and congratulations over their signature cocktail all round, Aperol Spritz, they made their way to Love-Lock the overbridge in an ode to the Parisian Pont des Arts. With their personally engraved padlock secured into place, the key was tossed into the water below before heading off for sunset photo’s overlooking the Noosa River.
Reception didn’t disappoint, did I mention how good the food is at Noosa Waterfront?! Guests were treated to an Italian style menu, and following formalities they danced the night away to Brad Scriven on his saxophone.
Congratulations Sarah + Richard, you two were an absolute delight!
